This week, Kyle received a message that struck fear in him. It collided with his understanding of God, similar to Mary Magdalene’s first encounter with risen Jesus at the tomb. Jesus told Mary, “Stop clinging to me”. (Jn 20:17) It was as if Jesus was saying to Mary, to Kyle, and to us, “Your life is different now. I’m going to give you a new Spirit so you can handle the change.” Stay on the journey, take action against your sin, and depend on Jesus.
